Use of Gabion mesh

　　The gabion mesh is mechanically woven from high-corrosion-resistant, high-strength, ductile low-carbon steel wire or PVC-coated steel wire. The gabion box-shaped structure made from the net is a stone cage. According to ASTM and EN standards, the diameter of the low carbon steel wire used varies according to engineering design requirements. Generally, it is between 2.0 and 4.0 mm. The tensile strength of the steel wire of the gabion mesh is not less than 38 kg/m2, and the weight of the metal plating is generally higher than 245 g/m2. The diameter of the edge line of the gabion box is generally larger than the diameter of the wire. The length of the double-wire stranded portion shall not be less than 50 mm to ensure that the metal plating and the PVC coating of the stranded steel wire are not damaged.
